Texas Energy Engineering Services Inc. (TEESI Engineering) is celebrating 35 years in business and seeking a motivated Energy & Commissioning Engineer. Join our dynamic team to work on energy conservation and building commissioning projects throughout Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy and commissioning audits.
- Analyze HVAC, lighting, and building systems.
- Recommend energy efficiency improvements.
- Benchmark and analyze utility data.
- Collect and analyze field data.
- Assist with technical reports and proposals.
- Provide energy-related technical assistance to clients.
- Travel up to 25%.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, architectural, industrial) or related discipline; MS preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience (more experienced applicants encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software (Bluebeam, REVIT/CAD).
Preferred:
- Experience with building energy modeling software.
- Exposure to mechanical/electrical systems and energy evaluations.
- Technical writing and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead energy and commissioning audits
Develop retrofit recommendations
Analyze utility data for cost reduction measures
Manage project teams and mentor junior engineers
Travel throughout Texas up to 25%
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (MS preferred)
5+ years of experience
Strong technical and managerial skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and remote communication tools
LEED, CxA, and/or CEM certification a plus
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
