Job Opportunity: Energy & Commissioning Engineer at TEESI Engineering
Location: Austin, Texas – Full Time (Onsite)

About Us:

Texas Energy Engineering Services Inc. (TEESI Engineering) is celebrating 35 years in business and seeking a motivated Energy & Commissioning Engineer. Join our dynamic team to work on energy conservation and building commissioning projects throughout Texas.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct energy and commissioning audits.
  • Analyze HVAC, lighting, and building systems.
  • Recommend energy efficiency improvements.
  • Benchmark and analyze utility data.
  • Collect and analyze field data.
  • Assist with technical reports and proposals.
  • Provide energy-related technical assistance to clients.
  • Travel up to 25%.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, architectural, industrial) or related discipline; MS preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience (more experienced applicants encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software (Bluebeam, REVIT/CAD).
Preferred:
  • Experience with building energy modeling software.
  • Exposure to mechanical/electrical systems and energy evaluations.
  • Technical writing and analytical skills.

Job Opportunity: Senior Energy & Commissioning Engineer at TEESI Engineering
Location: Austin, Texas-Fulltime (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead energy and commissioning audits
Develop retrofit recommendations
Analyze utility data for cost reduction measures
Manage project teams and mentor junior engineers
Travel throughout Texas up to 25%

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (MS preferred)
5+ years of experience
Strong technical and managerial skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and remote communication tools
LEED, CxA, and/or CEM certification a plus
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
