The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) is a non-profit association uniting over 100+ industrial plants and 50+ contractors and suppliers across River Parishes. Its membership includes companies from petrochemical, paper, bulk storage, and other allied sectors. GBRIA promotes collaboration between manufacturers and key suppliers, ensuring efficient delivery of labor, materials, and services vital to the region’s industrial success.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Training and Assessment Centers (ITACs) support small and medium manufacturers nationwide. University-led teams offer free technical assessments, helping businesses improve energy efficiency, productivity, and waste management. Each assessment provides a detailed report with recommendations, including information on incentives and rebates, fostering sustainable growth and competitiveness.

The Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) spearheads research and development through strategic partnerships with R&D consortia, national labs, universities, and both public and private organizations.
