This is achieved through a rigorous, merit-based evaluation process for competitive funding opportunities. These initiatives are specifically crafted to explore emerging manufacturing technologies, fostering innovation and pushing the boundaries of knowledge in the manufacturing sector.

 


 

USDOE Industrial Assessment Centers (IACs) assist small to medium US manufacturers in enhancing energy efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction. Conducted by university teams, their no-cost technical assessments result in detailed reports outlining competitiveness improvements, complete with information on relevant rebates and incentives, fostering sustainable practices and economic viability.

The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) is a non-profit, 501(c)(6) association comprising 100+ industrial plants and 50+ contractors/suppliers in the River Parishes from Krotz Springs to Plaquemines, LA. Its diverse membership spans petrochemical, paper, bulk storage, and allied industries, fostering collaboration between manufacturers and essential contractors/suppliers providing labour, materials, and supplies.
